Indications
Secondary prevention of occlusive ischaemic
events at cerebral & CV levels in thrombosis-hazarded patients (peripheral obliterative arteriopathy,
previous MI, recurrent events of previous transit ischaemic
attacks, ischaemic cerebral stroke, unstable angina,
in extracorporeal circulation & in haemodialysis),
prevention of reocclusion of aortocoronary
bypasses & in the thrombosis of the central vein of the retina.
Dosage
1-2 tab daily.
Contraindication
History of leukopenia or agranulocytosis. Angiostasis & haemopathy associated w/ prolonged bleeding. Susceptible bleeding organic lesions.
Precautions
In case of pharyngitis, buccal mucosa ulceration, angina, fever, bleeding or haematomas, discontinue therapy.
Adverse Reactions
GI disorders, allergic skin rash, thrombocytopenia, increase
in transaminases & occasionally bilirubin icterus.
Drug Interaction
NSAIDs,
anticoagulants, other platelet antiaggregants.
